The Enterprise Planning Platform

Jeffrey Casale serves as Board’s Chief Executive Officer. Casale most recently served as CEO of MarkLogic, where he delivered significant profitable growth and an acquisition by Progress Software. Previously, Casale was a President at Dell Technologies, where he created and led the DTS group into a global multi-billion-dollar business, and held senior executive roles at VMware and EMC.

Gordon Pothier is Board’s Chief Financial Officer. He is an experienced SaaS leader, having most recently served as CFO at Swiss-headquartered Sonar and previously at Massachusetts-based Onapsis and Carbon Black (now part of VMware). Gordon has a strong FP&A and sales finance background and is passionate about seeing fellow CFOs and executives leverage the power of Board’s Enterprise Planning Platform. 

Sean Maxwell leads Board’s worldwide sales and go-to-market efforts. His high energy and passion come from helping our customers and partners succeed with Board. Sean has built global software sales teams for the past 20 years, from large enterprises to tech start-ups. Sean previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Absolute Software, and held Sales leadership roles at Symantec, Virtual Instruments, and EMC.

John Loparco is the Chief Customer Officer at Board. With over 20 years of experience in the software industry, John’s most recent position was at MarkLogic, where he played a pivotal role in steering the growth and transformation of that company’s services. His extensive background also includes key leadership positions at Veritas, EMC, Dell, and VMWare.

FJ Gould has over 20 years experience leading tech GTM teams. Previously, FJ led the North America Channel and WW Technology Alliances at HashiCorp, as well as Sales and Partner teams at Turbonomic and VMware. Before entering tech, FJ spent 9 years in the U.S. State Department.

Vijay Kurkal is Board’s Chief Operating Officer. He has an exceptional track record in technology leadership and strategic vision, most recently serving as the CEO of Resolve Systems. Vijay’s prior roles have included Operating Partner at Insight Partners and Head of GTM Strategy, Americas at VMWare.

Mandy Jeffery is the Chief People Officer at Board. She has over 20 years of experience in driving human resource capability to maximize business results, having previously worked at technology companies including Workday and Verifone. Mandy is committed to achieving excellence throughout the organization and is adept at building strong HR partnerships across diverse, global workgroups.

Giulia Scalfi is Board’s VP of Finance. Giulia is a seasoned finance leader with over 30 years of experience in finance and operational roles across Europe and North America in the technology sector. Most recently Giulia was CFO and Senior Director of Business Operations for Global Alliances at Dell.

Ross Daniels is the Chief Marketing Officer at Board. With 25 years in software marketing, Ross’ experience spans from the Fortune 50 to growth-oriented private equity backed companies. Most recently Ross served as CMO of Acqueon, culminating in an acquisition by Five9. He previously served as CMO of Calabrio after an 18-year tenure at Cisco.

David Marmer is the SVP, Product at Board. With a strong background in SaaS and hybrid cloud solutions, David is focused on driving innovation and building world-class products that deliver transformational results. Prior to joining Board, he held executive roles at IBM and Cognos, where he led significant growth in analytics and performance management solutions.
